Job Description
On the Edge has an immediate opening for a Web Developer for our web division. Candidates will be responsible for working with external clients and an internal accounts manager to propose, plan, build and maintain our various client sites. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience building professional, standards-compliant sites, an excellent background in standards-based web development using (X)HTML and CSS, a working knowledge of PHP and MySQL, and is comfortable with Javascript.

On the Edge is a boutique design firm in Newport Beach that specializes in Branding, Design and Web Services for the restaurant industry, as well as having other clients. We have a tight-knit team of great designers, we work closely with our clients, and we are strong proponents of a creative environment and the open exchange of ideas. We are seeking someone who is comfortable working as a team player.

This position is full or part time (depending on availability), in Newport Beach. We do not pay relocation expenses and salary will depend on experience.

Submission Requirements
General Requirements:
* Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS
* Basic/working knowledge of PHP
* Basic knowledge of MySQL
* Good communication Skills

Bonus Skills:
* Experience with a Javascript framework like Dojo or jQuery
* Experience with Wordpress
* Knowledge of the Linux commandline
