Job Description
Under the direction of the Creative Manager, this position will perform professional level layout work for online content and marketing emails. The Graphic Designer will also provide back up graphic layout support on main visuals and marketing collateral.

Responsibilities include:
• Graphic design for stilacosmetics.com and html emails
• Designs layout and interaction for stilacosmetics.com. Creates concepts based on marketing objectives, information architecture and illustration / product integration
• Designs weekly home page tile updates and related html emails and landing pages
• Designs and builds Flash elements/landing pages for stilacosmetics.com
• Prepares files for programmer to integrate into website
• Works with programmer in deciding how to best integrate graphics into site
• Retouches / manipulates/ sizes product photography
• Retouches model photography
• Manipulates and digitally colors stila girl illustrations, occasionally draws/creates/updates illustrations (clothing and/or hair)
• Backup graphic layout for main visual graphics
• Prepares mock-ups of Ulta and Sephora merchandising units and visuals
• Creates visuals for Marketing initiatives and presentations
• Designs collateral materials: posters, business cards, stationary, letterhead, press releases etc.
• Works with Sales & Education to finalize tester unit artwork and incorporate their ideas
• Primary/secondary package artwork layout
• Work with Product Development and outside vendors on graphic layout for primary carton components
• Prepare final layouts and distribute to staff and vendors

Submission Requirements
The successful candidate possesses:
•Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design or related field
•Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in graphic design/web design
•Advanced skill set in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
•Understanding of stila brand aesthetic
•Experience designing for a transactional e-commerce site a plus
•Understanding of user interface, web standards, with a strong grasp of information architecture.
•Experience with cosmetic primary and secondary packaging layout a plus
