Job Description

Currently, our Los Angeles office is seeking a Production Manager to join our creative, collaborative, and results-oriented Visual Communications team. In this role, you will direct and manage creative production projects from conception to completion; and ensuring that work is performed on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate a team of creative professionals, including art directors, graphic designers and freelancers.
- Oversee the master production schedule to ensure efficient trafficking of all projects within the department. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage client and account team expectations; serve as a resource for all parties during a project.
- Serve as liaison between account teams and designers to ensure seamless communication during projects.
- Business management of all projects including pricing, designing scope of work, and managing projected budgets.
- Negotiate and coordinate with vendors.
- Foster client relationships in order to ensure long lasting, mutually beneficial business involvement.
- Responsible for exceeding sales goals, monitoring staffing levels, overall utilization, and the integrity and consistency of work product.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, 4-6 years agency experience. Candidate must have experience in the print production process, understanding of digital projects and workflow. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, basic business accounting, negotiation skills, and staff management as well as a defined interest in marketing communications and the creative process. Fluency in design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) a plus. Candidate should possess the ability and enthusiasm to lead a group to exceed client expectations.
