Job Description
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the marketing department of the Hollywood Reporter!
This internship provides a nuts and bolts look at how a marketing creative services department works with hands on experience and exposure to the different types of collateral material that is produced including house ads for publication, flyers, brochures, signage, etc
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with designing house ads and collateral materials. This includes designing the creative, researching assets for materials (photos, logos, etc), and trafficking for internal approvals
- Creating pdf files of materials in different versions (with crop marks for printing, crop marks deleted for handouts, low res versions for e-mailing)
- Organizing assets on and maintain file server â€" deleting out of date materials, uploading and organizing files
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Macintosh, Quark, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe
- Understanding of Design principles and theories
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
Job Status:
Non-Paid Internship/Course Credit Required
This will be a weekly internship, with a minimum of 20-25 hours required. We are open to accommodating a work schedule that coordinates with school schedules.
