January 22, 2006—Join AIGA Los Angeles and Mohawk paper in welcoming VSA Partners founding principal Dana Arnett as the second speaker in our spring series, Wednesday, February 22, 2006, from 6:30pm until 9:00pm at MOCA Grand Avenue.

Dana Arnett is most famous for his memorable work for Harley-Davidson and is known throughout the design and creative industries for dispensing his unconventional wisdom through irreverent and inspirational presentations. He is, quite simply, a design rock star. This event, which he’s entitled “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Hot Chocolate,� promises to be another sold out performance.

As the founding principal of the internationally recognized firm of VSA Partners, headquartered in Chicago, Arnett, along with his four partners and 90 associates, solve a diverse range of creative challenges for the likes of Harley-Davidson, IBM, General Electric, Coca-Cola, Cingular Wireless, Chronicle Books, and TimeWarner.

Over the course of his 21 years in the field, Dana and the firm have been globally recognized by many competitions and designations including; Communication Arts, AIGA, Graphis, The Type Directors Club, the American and British Art Directors Clubs, ID, The LA Film Festival, theAR100 and the American Marketing Association. Arnett was a 1999 inductee into the Alliance Graphic International, and holds the honor of being named to the ID40 who has cited him as, “one of the 40 most important people shaping design internationally.� Arnett is a former member of the AIGA National Board of Directors, where he continues to play an active role in leadership and policy making initiatives that shape the design industry.
