Job Description
1-800-DENTIST needs a dynamic and experienced Creative Director to lead a group of talented designers and copywriters in our internal advertising agency. The company has a well-established and respected brand, a significant media budget and projects that cover both B2B and B2C audiences.
Responsibilities:
The Creative Director will be responsible for all of the company’s creative projects, including television ads, print ads, website design, member communication, marketing collateral, trade show collateral, and more.
In this role you will:
• be the steward of the 1-800-DENTIST and other brands;
• assist in every facet of campaign creation from ideation to on-time and on-budget completion;
• ensure the efficient flow of projects through the Creative Team; and
• ensure quality of all materials and achievement of specific performance objectives.
Qualified candidates should have experience in:
• managing teams of creative individuals;
• strongly leading the creative team from concept to completion of the project;
• translating core brand principles and personality into consistent look, feel and voice across all creative material; and
• managing multiple projects and priorities.
It’s imperative to have solid background in design and to be proficient in:
• Visual Design Software (InDesign, Photoshop); and
• Web Design
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree;
• minimum 5 years experience as Creative Director at Agency or leader of Client creative team;
• experience with B2C creative needs; and
• experience with B2B creative needs.
Other Requirements:
• Above average analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills;
• excellent organizational and project management skills; and
• contagious enthusiasm.
