Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Art Director/Designer for our Los Angeles office. The Sr. Art Director works for the Creative Director and is responsible for handling multiple projects from concept through execution in both offline and online channels: print, collateral, direct mail, email and websites. Individual should have strong conceptual and design skills with emphasis on interactive work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop concepts and designs for various client projects, partnering with copywriters to ensure the art direction and visual presentation support the defined strategy.
Collaborate with creative, account services, production, technology, production art studio and extended team members on delivering breakthrough creative solutions.
Hands-on development of comps, layouts and prototypes in appropriate software applications.
Present and sell ideas internally and to clients.
Possess solid understanding of available technologies to develop engaging user experiences for the online channel.
Understanding of “best practices” for both the online and offline channels.
Passionate about new media design, self-motivated, and quick to meet challenges with strategic thought.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 7 years art direction / design experience.
- Portfolio which showcases stellar design a must.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop. Flash a plus.
- Undergraduate degree, with preference given to major in Graphic Arts.
- Great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
