AIGA/LA Announces Its New Board of Directors for 2010-2012

The Los Angeles chapter of AIGA elected a new Board of Directors for 2010-2012. In May 2010, a slate of nominees was presented to the Los Angeles membership for a vote. There was a two-week voting period which ended on June 4, 2010, and the new Board has been elected. Board members serve a two-year term that runs from June-May.

The new Board President is Jimmy Moss, Professor at Cal State L. A. and former Vice President of the Board.

The new Vice President is Melanie Paykos, Senior Creative Director at Brand: Two West.

New Board Members at Large include:
• Eduardo Braniff , Global Insight Director at Imagination Group
• Allison Bloss, Independent Creative Director and Design Consultant
• Paula Brown, Independent Creative Director
• Jose Caballer, Chief Visionary, CCO at The Groop
• Brian Jackson, Creative Director at The Kama Sutra Company
• Alex Maloutas, Consultant and Designer at USC Auxiliary Services Design Studio
• Jodie Shotwell , Creative Director at Sapient
• Peter Vega, Manager, Print Production at Herbalife International
• Brian Wen, Innovation Strategist at Design Continuum
