What is your job? Where do you work?
I’m a freelance designer. I create mostly web stuff. For the past few months I’ve been able to work from home and I love it.

What are you currently working on?
I’m working on a site called developingwords.org. We host blogs for writers in developing nations. There are ads on each blog and all the revenue from these ads is sent back to the writers. It’s sort of an alternative to donation based sites. If you’re interested in advertising on it let‘s talk!

What do you do in your spare time?
I’m slowly creating a collection of Type Kites. The wind is partial to san-serif type in case you’re wondering. It just flows better.

What are your favorite websites?
I recently discovered ytmnd.com. It’s this site where people create these odd pop culture memes and mash them up for laughs. I can’t get enough.

Do have your own website?
Yes, http://www.hoopladesign.com

Are you currently looking for work or projects and why should a potential employer or client that is reading this contact you?
I’m always open to new or interesting projects. If you hire me I’ll make you a Type Kite!

I like your type kites, Mason. How many have you done and have you tried to sail any messages?

Thanks Rob. I haven't tried to make any whole words yet. I think it's possible but each letter would need to be rectangular in shape like a box kite. Words like "hit" and "fill" would probably work well. If you added an "s" the other letters would have to support its weight.

I'm thinking multiple flyers like I R U L E...

Way to go Mason... keep on flying your type kites!
