1. What is your job? Where do you work?
I am an art director for print and interactive media in Los Angeles, California.

2. What are your inspirations?
My inspirations include trips around the U.S. and abroad, live concerts, Matisse, Joseph Campbell and my mother.

3. How do you balance your life between work and non-work? Or, what do you do in your spare time? What do you do in your spare time?
I have to be diligent about turning off my computer when I am not working since I am notorious for staying up past my bedtime tweaking projects. In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting and running. I also enjoy eating good food and spending time with family and friends.

4. What is the most valuable thing you learned in school (or your career)?
My liberal arts undergraduate education has been one of the most valuable experiences in my design career. During that time I expanded my knowledge base in various directions and that affects my design today, influencing what and how I communicate to my audience.

5. What are you currently listening to?
MC Solaar, Joy Division

6. What are you currently reading?
The Unbearable Lightness of Being, by Milan Kundera

7. What do you feel is your most eccentric behavior or habit?
When I am working from home, I need to get up every so often and take a short dance break.

8. What product or gadget strikes your fancy?
A 14-cup Cuisinart food processor would be very handy. I’d also like a Toyota Tacoma so I can transport large objects.

9. What's your favorite sport and why?
I enjoy watching football, especially the Super Bowl, for the commercials.
