How you price your creative services can dictate your clientele as well as the growth & profitability of your company. And if you’re not pricing your services to the value they hold to customers, you’re leaving money on the table.

So how do you price your work-what’s your calculation when you’re asked to bid a job?

Are you Charging Enough?
Do you include all elements of the work you perform on a project: project management, project documentation and reference guides, printing costs, sub-contractor/vendor expenses, phone & email correspondence.

Do You Know Your Hourly Rate?
If you don’t know then you also don’t know the real price of your services. Not knowing your hourly rate is a flag that you’re pricing your services too low.

Master Negotiator
Can you say ‘no’ to a client when the project budget is just not workable; or do you possess the talent to negotiate the project price & scope without underbidding your services?
