Event Description
Come join National Lampoon’s famed Michael Gross as he discusses what’s so funny about art directing the legendary humor magazine. He’ll also cover many other career highlights, including his “no ghosts” logo design for Ghostbusters, which he produced.

Additional Event Information
Michael Gross is best known for his art direction – and most notoriously, his “Kill This Dog” cover – for the National Lampoon. Earlier, he was senior designer for the 1968 Mexican Olympics. He’s worked as John Lennon’s personal designer, Muppets consultant, Esquire art director, and producer for films such as Ghostbusters, for which he designed the “no ghosts” logo. He’s also an illustrator, photographer, and museum curator.

Parking details
Free parking. Stop at the guard’s kiosk at the Main Gate (Lincoln Blvd. and LMU Drive) to obtain a permit and directions. The visitor parking lot (Hannon Field, parking lot A) is just south of the Burns Fine Arts Center.
