GAUGE presents Cynthia Murnane

Cynthia serves as Creative Director for Magnitude, which she founded in 2004. She spent much of her career in San Francisco, New York and L.A. working as a Design Director for Landor Associates, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis (Hal Riney & Partners) and many other top design firms. Cynthia was formerly a board member for AIGA/Los Angeles and served on the Brand Experience board for AIGA nationally.

Magnitude is a design firm specializing in corporate branding and strategic communications. Over the years, the team has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies creating identities for new brands and revitalizing familiar ones. Clients have included: Motorola, Lincoln Mercury, Charles Schwab, FedEx Kinkos, and AmericaShare.

The GAUGE Speaker Series brings design industry professionals to campus to stimulate discussion, inspire excellence and build community among the design students, alumni, faculty and staff of California State University Los Angeles.Established in the 2006-2007 academic year, GAUGE has brought one speaker each quarter to campus. Past speakers have included: Deborah Sussman, Agustin Garza, Stefan Bucher, Kim Baer, Ricardo Cardeñas, Michael Hodgson, Noreen Morioka, Yu Tsai, Petrula Vrontikis, and Lorraine Wild.
