Thank you so much for sharing with us last night, Kim! I enjoy your work and look forward to seeing more of it! :)

Thank you so much for sharing your views on graphic design and what you went though in your life. After listening to your life story and the important elements in graphic design, I feel as though you have reignited my passion to study the field.

Being able to meet Kim (a very approachable and insightful person) and catch a glimpse of what she as a designer has to offer was exhilarating as well as valuable. Personally, I was taken in by Kim's storytelling through a constellation of her personal life from the very beginning of her presentation. It was clean, quick, and to the point yet it set up the overall feel for what she was about to talk about--giving us a glimpse of what we had to expect. I was amazed at the wide arrange of clients that she had worked with, and she often pointed out the polar opposite feel of different companies. Something I found was met, from a design standpoint, with professional understanding of the client's image. Often times during the presentation she was frank about being met with a challenge where she and her team had no experience with. Yet they did the research, gathered a necessary team of designers and completed the task with professional charisma. Kim stressed the importance of constantly learning.

Overall it was an honor to have Kim be apart of Cal State LA's Speaker Series.
Thank you Kim!

I would like to thank everyone that made this event a success, and especially to Kim Baer for taking the time to speak with us.

My schedule didn't allow me to make it back to campus to see Kim Baer but I was glad that I was able to see her on the live stream! That helped so much because I didn't miss a thing. It is always interesting to hear how designers get their start and are able to become successful and enjoy their life as a designer.
