Please join the MOCA Contemporaries and architect Patrick Tighe for an exclusive tour of The Moving Picture Company.

Join us for a conversation, with Patrick Tighe, AIA, owner/principal of Tighe Architecture, and Mark Tobin, Managing Director of The Moving Picture Company (MPC) as they discuss the architecture and share the work of The Moving Picture Company.

Patrick Tighe and Tighe Architecture:
Tighe Architecture is committed to creating an authentic, contemporary Architecture informed by technology, sustainability and building innovation. Since the inception of Tighe Architecture, a strong and diverse body of projects has been realized that include city developed affordable housing, commercial, mixed use projects, civic art, installations and residences.

Patrick Tighe, AIA, FAAR is Principal and lead designer of Tighe Architecture. Tighe was the recipient of the prestigious Rome Prize in 2007, is a Fellow of the The American Academy and a Fellow of the MacDowell Colony (2009).The work has received numerous awards and has been published extensively. Tighe has exhibited internationally and currently teaches at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Current projects include The Sierra Bonita Mixed Use Affordable Housing project for people living with disabilities now under construction for the City of West Hollywood, also a private villa for H H Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayad Al Nahyan on the Northern African coast of Morocco.

Moving Picture Company:
The Moving Picture Company (MPC) is a UK based, world leading post production facility creating high-end digital visual effects and computer animation for the feature film, advertising, music and television industries. Recent work includes Slumdog Millionaire, Watchmen, and the last six James Bond movies as well as commercials for Toyotas and Bacardi.
