Please note this is a 2 day symposium, Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, 2009.

The MFA in Graphic Design at Otis College of Art and Design will be hosting an international two-day symposium, "Untitled: Variations in Design Practice." This symposium will set in motion a bi-annual event that welcomes the design and art community to Otis to engage in the every day experience of a graduate student. By nature an advanced degree program challenges that which already exists and seeks to find new meaning and new forms to the problems set before us. Through lectures, exhibitions, and dialogue with like-minded people the symposium will rejuvenate those in their practice seeking inspiration as well as establish connections on an international level between practitioners and students committed to shaping the future of graphic design.

The cost of the symposium is $99.99.
Register here.

Participants include Daniel van der Velden from Amsterdam, Keetra Dixon from New York, Maki Suzuki and Zak Kyes from London.
