From running a large agency, starting a new business, to building your freelance network, get a wide perspective view on business issues we all face. Bring your thoughts and questions to participate in this active discussion, the presentation will be followed by roundtable discussions on hot topics like: attracting and maintaining your ideal clients, successful pricing strategies, effective marketing and growing your business no matter what economy we are in.

Peleg Top, Marketing Mentor
Peleg Top is the co-founder Marketing-Mentor a business and professional development mentorship specializing in helping creative business owners grow their business, learn to price their work for better profits and maintain healthy balanced lifestyle. After 18 years of running his own successful design firm, Peleg closed his studio and shifted his focus and career path to mentoring and consulting with creative entrepreneurs. He is a speaker at many national conferences, the founder of The Creative Business MasterMind Circle and author of The Designer's Guide to Marketing and Pricing.

Darin Beaman, OIC
Darin Beaman is Co-founder and Creative Director at OIC, an integrated communications agency in Pasadena, CA. OIC was founded in 1999 and today has 23 employees and a presence in San Francisco, and Munich. Darin leads a team of creatives whose specialties range from user experience design to brand development. OIC clients include as AT&T, Nestle, NetAPP, Roxio, Disney Channel, Warner Bros., AMD, Lynda.com, and PowerBar. In addition to providing creative direction he is responsible for the creative aspects of new business development.
Maureen Erbe, Erbe Design
Maureen Erbe is founder and creative director of Erbe Design in historic South Pasadena, California - a marketing communications firm founded in 1980. A marathon runner, architecture aficionado, and avid collector of whatever catches her eye, Erbe weaves this diversity throughout the firm's variety of projects - from branding and identity programs, book design, and product packaging, to marketing communications, advertising design and new media. Erbe Design's clients include leaders in the home, garden and lifestyle industries, national corporations, non-profits, and arts organizations.
Michele Moore, Michele Moore Graphic Design
Michele Moore is currently a contract senior designer for Metro (Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority). As part of the highly collaborative 20-person Design Studio she works on a broad range of creative projects including advertising, corporate identity, maps and high-profile print publications. Prior to Metro, Michele was a freelance design director at The Jim Henson Company, a leading entertainment company in Hollywood. She has also freelanced for a number of leading agencies such as AdamsMorioka, Margo Chase Design, Disney and MTV News.
