AIGA/LA's website described this event as starting at 6:30 pm. I left work early, drove to Pasadena, got to Art Center "on time" and found myself in an otherwise empty LA Times Auditorium with several others who read the same posting. Outside the auditorium, someone noticed posters in the hall stating the event was actually scheduled to begin at 7:30. No apologies were ever offered to the early arrivers by the moderator. Plus the evening was a chaotic mess. The three speakers sped through half-baked presentations and hardly stayed on topic.
