Join the UCLA Extension AIGA Student Group to listen in on Samantha Hoey's Art Director confessions. After over a year at the Walt Disney Company, Samantha Hoey learned that it was going to take more than her creativity to be a success in the corporate world.. Despite her own preconceived notions and ideals, she soon realized that a true understanding of the interwoven relationship between design and business principles was required. In addition to being "creative," Samantha found that the art of communication, negotiation and responsible design; as well as a bit of strategy... would take her everywhere she wanted to go in her career and in life. Join us to listen in on Samantha's confessions as an Art Director.
