A temporary library and panel discussion about books

Presentation and Panel discussion will include:

Tahli FIsher-Harkham (Family Bookstore)

The "Temporary Library" will include over 60 books from the personal libraries of our friends and collaborators; Anne Burdick, Emmet Byrne, Simon Johnston, Victoria Lam, Gail Swanlund, Alex De Armond of the Werkplaats Typografie, Michael Worthington, Martin Venezky, and many more.

AtRandom EVENT_03 is inspired by the past of the historic building that we've held our events in for the last 2 years. For one night, we will turn the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts back into a venue for books. Designers from around the globe have offered guests of AtRandom_03 access to the titles in their personal libraries that inspire, insight and/or influence their work. Making AtRandoms' library not singularly concerned with indexing but rather a collection of practice, inspiration, curiosity and delight.

For the duration of the event you will be able to check out and spend time appreciating each publication and document. For those very precious additions to the library there will be librarians on hand to handle and schedule viewings. We are presently compiling the library and will be sharing the titles here soon, so please check back often.

To cap the event and place the library firmly in a contemporary context we have invited 3 fantastic presenters who will discuss their recent work crafting, publishing and curating the contemporary bound sequence.
