AIGA Education Committee presents INSIDE the INDUSTRY.
1-3:30pm, Saturday, March 29th, 2008
Otis College of Art and Design in the Ahmanson Forum.

Join AIGA student members and get the straight story on creativity, design solutions, a day-in-the-life, challenges and rewards from two of the industry's hottest pros. The speakers will share their knowledge for an hour each and if time allows, a revealing question and answer session will follow the presentations.

Jeffrey DeCoster, Freelance Illustrator_
Jeffrey has been working as a freelance illustrator since he graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1989. His work been published in many national magazines including Rolling Stone, Time, Esquire, The New Yorker, Forbes, Harpers, and the Atlantic Monthly. Jeffrey is a three-time winner of the Gold Medal from the New York Society of Illustrators. His work has been featured regularly in both the American Illustration Annual and the Communication Arts Illustration Annual. He currently lives in Pasadena and teaches drawing at the Art Center College of Design.

Ann Supawanich, VP- User Experience at Schematic
Schematic focuses not only on crafting marketing messages and broadcasting them to potential customers, but on creating branded experiences that encourage interaction. Their multi-disciplinary approach helps them to concept, develop, and deploy customer experiences that are both business relevant and unexpected. Her particular area of interest is connecting and creating digital eco-systems. Over the past 8 years, Communication Arts, the Webby Awards, American Business Awards and Web Marketing Association have recognized her work.

FREE for AIGA student members and $10 at the door for non-members. Please bring your AIGA ID. Non-member students may join AIGA at the door, and get into the event for free.
