Andy Cruz of House Industries at the Eames Office

Join us for a special evening at the Eames Office with Andy Cruz from House Industries where we will get an intimate view behind the scenes of House Industries and the Upcoming Eames Font Project. Seating is very limited (but they're all cool seats). And, you might just be one of the lucky attendees who will walk away with some House schwag.

See ya there!

hello aiga los angeles

just curious if there's anything lined up for the summer, regarding events? not discounting 'house', but they seem to have cropped up a few times in the past year. any possible plans to bring in some international flavor? maybe an architect... i keep seeing write ups about the new akron art museum. maybe an artist... i see that moca is having a takashi murakami show later this year... and an emory douglas show. i know these aren't graphic designers, but we're all creatures of the crossover. remember the bauhaus?

peter saville, designers republic, mike mills, spike jonze, michel gondry, have rudy vanderlans and zuzana licko ever spoke in los angeles?

What can we say, Andy and crew just can't seem to get enough Los Angeles. Plus it is a great opportunity to check out the Eames Office.

just to be clear to those attending... the eames office is not the eames house (the structure featured on the graphic for the event).

But of course that graphic is a clear representation of the of the new font packaging, a little Eames House replica.

of course... a great selling point.

Anyone have a report from the evening? As a lover of both Eames and type I'm interested to know more about the project.

I couldn't stay for the whole thing, but it was a very cool space with some very notable people. Pics
