Documenting Your Artwork with Digital Images
A piece of art is best viewed in person. Unless you can find a way to make it portable and duplicable, the next best thing is to take a picture digitally. Learn how to best translate your work of art so it fits perfectly into your professional portfolio. George Simian (www.georgesimian.com), a professional photographer, specializing in documenting 2-D and 3-D pieces with digital images will be sharing his experiences and showing us how to make your artwork look the best digitally. He will be discussing 2-D vs. 3-D Art: two different intents in its reproduction, camera placement, lighting sources and techniques, digital processing of image files for highest quality, and preparation of digital files for delivery to galleries, competitions, and clients.
