Only 20 spaces available
In the spring of 2003, co-owners Ryan Honey (CD) and Jeff Ellermeyer (CEO) formed Buck, a motion graphics design and production studio based in Los Angeles. The company name was inspired by Buckminster Fuller, a man most known for the geodesic dome but who was also a great innovator in the fields of art and science.
Previously the creative director of NY-based Heavy Inc., Ryan Honey headed to Los Angeles where he assembled an international creative team of designers, animators, editors and directors. The company continued its growth, and in 2006 expanded to the east coast with an office in New York, and a third partner, creative director Orion Tait.
Buck’s directors and artists employ animation, visual effects and live action collaborating with clients from concept to delivery, producing work that is visceral, innovative and diverse. The company is best known in the advertising and broadcast industry for its groundbreaking work for Scion, G4, TV Land and re-branding Spike TV.
