Get inspired at AIGA/LA's annual Student Portfolio Day, held this year at USC's campus in downtown LA. Spend the morning at a panel with world-famous designers David Carson and Matthew Carter along with Gary Hustwit, director of the documentary film Helvetica. Box lunches will be provided at noon, then you'll have all afternoon to present your work to LA's top creatives. Check the USC website for more details.
9:00 to 10:00am: Early registration for reviews
10:00am to 12:00pm: Panel discussion
12:00pm: Box lunch
1:00 to 5:00pm: Portfolio reviews
Non-students and the general public can purchase tickets which include a Helvetica screening on Friday, April 27 and the panel discussion on Saturday unless they are sold out, which is expected and may already be the case.
7:00pm SOLD OUT
9:30pm Tickets may still be available.
A 50th Birthday Bash with a Helveticake (get it?) will be held right outside the Leonard Davis Auditorium immediately following the first screening (the film is about 80 minutes long) and all are welcome.

Only AIGA student members can attend the portfolio review. You must present a membership number or proof of membership at the door. However, if you're not currently an AIGA member, you can join at the event and get in for free.
