Typographic engagements by designer Jacob Ristau

An exploration of the 26 letters of the English alphabet, where each project steps successively further away from letterform as language to initiate the consideration of letter as form and to highlight the divide between language and letter. Viewers will be invited to physically engage with each project, further blurring the line between two-dimensional written forms, the visual perception of "writing" and the unconscious physical relationship we have with letters.
