What Graphic Artists Need to Know about Copyrights, Intellectual Property and
Getting Paid

It's not personal. It's the law. UCLAx Design invites you to come listen to two legal experts do what they do best -- talk. Learn about copyrights, trademark registration, intellectual property, student vs. professional portfolios, freelance employment contracts, and everything else you need to know for your freelance jobs. "Throwing the book at you" on a whole different level, Stuart Carroll and Greg Victoroff, www.rohde-victoroff.com, are practicing attorneys with emphasis in creative property and art laws. They will clear up any misconceptions and help you protect your work.

Brought to you by UCLAx Design, UCLA Extension's AIGA Student Group
