Marian Bantjes is a graphic designer who has crossed the boundary into illustrative ornament and custom typography. Since giving up what she calls "straight up graphic design" in 2004, she has worked with Stefan Sagmeister, Rick Valicenti, Pentagram, and a plethora of other designers and magazines with work that is both hand-made and technically adept. Her work is complex, emotional, often funny and always obsessive.
