David Mayes served on the board with the Development Committee for the 2002-2004 term and moved to the Finance Committee for the 2004-2006 term. He has worked with Programming during the past five years and been involved with AIGA-Los Angeles since 1997. David Mayes’ career in the printing industry has spanned more than 22 years. He has worked in all phases of printing from pre-press to management to sales. He has a deep affection for the creative process with special appreciation for the collaboration between printer and designer. David is inspired by the process of taking ideas conceived in an artists’ imagination and delivering a tangible product with colors, textures and ideas brought to life.

Board members serve a two-year term that runs from June-May. In April of each year, chapter membership is asked to nominate AIGA Los Angeles members that you think will be an asset to the Board and our chapter. And remember, you can always nominate yourself!

Volunteering for AIGA Los Angeles is a great way to meet other designers, hone your professional skills and give back to your community. Plus, without our dedicated volunteers, we would not be able to carry out the incredible events and initiatives planned throughout the year. So we need you!
